Our 8th graders are now in the midst of writing their graduation papers. They are reflecting on the questions: Who am I? How have I grown and changed over my years as a child, and as a student at Red Cedar? What are my values? What are my hopes and intentions for the next steps in my life? They will be presenting these papers at their graduation.
This is a powerful rite of passage for them.Sharing these personal reflections publicly is an assertion of who they are and their connection to the world which takes courage. The support our community gives them as they go through this important transition means a great deal to them.
